About the event

International Women’s Day 2026

Give to Gain; No One Advances Alone

Join us for a powerful evening of connection, storytelling, and community as we celebrate International Women’s Day with the theme “Give to Gain; No One Advances Alone.”

This special event is hosted in partnership with Community Futures Central Island, WeBC, and the Nanaimo Women’s Business Network, bringing together local leaders, entrepreneurs, and community organizations to explore how mentorship, collaboration, and support help women thrive.

Through inspiring stories, meaningful conversation, and a facilitated panel discussion, we will highlight the ripple effect created when women support one another — in business, leadership, and community.

“Give to Gain” reflects the power of reciprocity. When we share our time, knowledge, resources, and encouragement, we strengthen opportunities for women everywhere. When women thrive, communities thrive.
